This powerful meditation will activate your remembrance of the love you are and ground you in your personal power, strength, and inner peace. It is easy and natural to lose sight of the truth of the love you are when facing many daily challenges and just trying to live in a world with many polarized views. 

This meditation was made as a gift for you to use during the moments in your life when you find yourself feeling off center, in a state of fear, anxiety, and worry, and you've lost your footing with the heart centered path of the middle way.

The middle way path, which is also called the “and” consciousness or truth consciousness, centers us in truth and love. In the middle way, we are not attached to extremes and we realize that opposing views, emotions, and beliefs can exist at the same time without needing to choose a side and allowing all to be exactly as it is meant to be in each moment. When centered in the middle way, we are rooted in service to others as well as service to ourselves. No one is left out as everyone is part of the whole of life.

Living within the middle way connects you to peace and calm within your being and strengthens you to face the many challenges in your life from a place of alignment with your true essence of love.

How do you know you need to center yourself in the middle way consciousness?

Below are clues to help you know when you are not living within your heart center and when grounding within the middle way consciousness will assist you in reconnecting with truth.

  • You feel pulled away from love - you’re not even sure anymore what love is or what it feels like

  • You experience inner turmoil and conflict

  • You’re having difficulty making decisions because of the many different opinions and perspectives trying to influence your choices

  • You feel overly stressed and tense - your head hurts just trying to wade through all of the external noise in the world

  • You begin gossiping about other people, whether you know them or not

  • You’re super judgmental and critical of yourself and other people

  • You’re focused on extreme ways of thinking - there’s the “right” way to think, feel, believe, and act/behave and there are the “wrong” ways. You’ve gotten stuck in your own sense of righteousness of what is “right” and what is “wrong”. (Even me putting these words in parentheses is starting to upset you!)

  • You base your decisions in your life off of fear, worry, and lack

  • You’re experiencing anxiety and depression and you’re not sure why - you can’t link the emotions to a specific experience such as but not limited to a traumatic event

  • You’re having a hard time focusing your attention and are feeling restless - and these issues are not related to a diagnosed condition and are outside of your normal range of behavior

DISCLAIMER - Do NOT drive, use a motorized vehicle, operate heavy machinery, or participate in any other activity that requires you to be fully aware and present in the moment.

Allow yourself to be seated or laying down in a space that you find to be comfortable, quiet, and peaceful for you. There may not be a completely quiet space in your home and that is OK. Focus on using the most relaxing and quiet space available to you.

Turn off any distractions (i.e., phone, TV, computer, radio, tablets, etc.) that could compete for your attention.

Obviously, you can’t turn off your kids or pets :-). Do the best you can to participate in the meditation when they are asleep or being watched by someone else.

If neither of these options are available to you, you can bring them to the meditation with you and teach them how to meditate. (Who knows, my voice may even help put them to sleep! It’s been known to happen before :-).)

Know that you are worthy of giving yourself this time to connect with your heart center and ground your personal energy and emotions.
